Are you visiting Ipswich over the Easter long weekend? There’s plenty of businesses open to explore.

Queensland Museum Rail Workshops

Queensland Museum Rail Workshops is open right through the holiday period, only closing on Good Friday. Head in from 9.30am-4pm daily to see Rail Through Time: A Kids Adventure, explore the Sciencentre, embark on a scavenger hunt and play games.

Limelight Cinemas

Kung Fu Panda 4

Limelight Cinemas will be open all the way through the Easter period, showing all the latest movies including Kung Fu Panda 4.

Ipswich Art Gallery

You can visit the Ipswich Art Gallery right through the holidays, except for Good Friday.  During the holidays bring the kids to Pattern Play where they can discover the magic of shape and design; see Intertwined – work by local Ipswich-based artists Donna Davis and Sean Williams; and walk through Conversations – recent acquisitions from the past 12-18 months.

Ewe Nique Hobby Farm

Ewe Nique Hobby Farm will be open on Easter Saturday, Sunday and Monday but closed for Good Friday. There will be Easter eggs for the kids and the chance to win a huge egg in a raffle.  Bookings are required.

Floating Images Hot Air Balloon Flights will be open and operating balloon flights over Easter and the school holiday break.  Book online or call the friendly staff on 3294 8770 to check availability.

Elderflower Cafe

Elderflower Cafe

You can enjoy a delicious breakfast or lunch at Elderflower Cafe these holidays.  The cafe will be open the whole Easter weekend with fantastic coffee and treats available.

Hidden Vale Adventure Park

Spend the day hiking or biking at Hidden Vale Adventure Park.  The park will be open over Easter from 7am to 3pm.  Entry is $20 for the day or you can buy a yearly pass for $99.

UB’s Milk Bar

UB's Milk Bar (Ungermann Brothers) classic burger, stay loaded fries and strawberry milkshake

Enjoy burgers, milkshakes, waffles and ice cream at UB’s Milk Bar this Easter.  The shop will close on Good Friday, but open Easter Saturday from 10am to 4pm, Easter Sunday from 11am to 2pm and Easter Monday from 11am to 4pm.

The Llama Farm

Bunny photos are back at The Llama Farm this Easter

The Llama Farm will be open for farm tours and llama walks on the weekend over Easter, there’s also a special Easter Bunny family photo shoot from 11.30am to 1.30pm on Saturday March 30.  Bookings are essential and will fill fast.

Fourthchild Cafe

Fourthchild Cafe will be open over the Easter break, except for Good Friday.  Head in from 7am to 3pm Easter, Saturday, Sunday and Monday, a 15% public holiday surcharge applies each day.

Spicers Hidden Vale

Spicers Hidden Vale will be open all through Easter, and so will their restaurant Homage, there is also a special Easter High Tea at Homage on Easter Sunday.  The Barn will also be open on Easter Saturday and Sunday.  Please note a public holiday surcharge will be applied.

Bookings are essential.

Brothers Ipswich

Every day over the holidays, except Good Friday, Brothers Leagues Club Ipswich will open with dining, drinks and entertainment available (from 10am to 2am).  There’s also no surcharges!

Both Limelight Cinemas and Ruby Chews will be open right through Easter.  Head in for your movie and burger fix!

The Sourdough Crust Co

Head in for great pizza at The Sourdough Crust Co during the Easter break.  They will open on Good Friday for takeaway and Easter Saturday for lunch and dinner and then close Easter Sunday and Monday.

Club Parkview

Club Parkview will be open from 10am to 4am every day over Easter except for Good Friday.

They are also holding an Easter Family Fun Day on Easter Sunday from 11am to 3pm with half priced kids meals, face painting, colouring and activities. There will also be a visit from the Easter bunny with free eggs for the kids.

Club Services Ipswich will be open on Easter Saturday, Sunday and Monday with no public holiday surcharge.  There will also be a kids fun day on Easter Sunday.

Head in to Wild Rose Cottage for breakfast, lunch and baked treats on Good Friday and Easter Saturday.  They will close Easter Sunday and Monday.

Ipswich Antique Centre

You’ll be able to browse for antiques and collectables at the Ipswich Antique Centre on Easter Saturday.  The shop will open from 10am to 5pm.  It will be closed the other days of Easter.

Special Branch Collective

The Special Branch Collective

Head in for a coffee at Special Branch Collective on Easter Saturday.  Lanark Baked Goods will be parked outside the shop on Easter Saturday serving hot cross buns from their wood fired oven.  The coffee shop will close Good Friday and Easter Sunday.

The Mysteria Alpacas farm will be open Saturday and Sunday over the Easter weekend!

Hardcore Blasters

Hardcore Blasters will be open for some gel blaster skirmish fun the entire Easter long weekend. They’ve hidden some eggs with special prizes inside and every session has eggs to find! 

Good Friday you can book in from 6pm-9pm, Easter Saturday 2pm-5pm and 6pm-9pm and Easter Sunday from 2pm-5pm.

Children aged from 13 years and adults are able to book. 

Want to use your own gel blaster?  Book the $35 public session and BYO gel blaster and gel balls. Mask hire is available for $5. 

Don’t have a gel blaster?  Book the $60 public session with hire.  Includes entry, a gel blaster, a full face mask and unlimited gel balls. 

Riverlink Shopping Centre

You can still go shopping over the Easter long weekend!  Riverlink Shopping Centre will be closed on Good Friday, specialty stores will open from 10am-4pm on Easter Saturday, Sunday and Monday.

They are also running a promotion where you can meet Peter Rabbit.

Pumpyard Bar and Brewery

Try the Pumpyard Bar and Brewery's burger menu, it's delish.

Enjoy a locally-brewed beer, delicious burgers, pizzas, salads and more at Pumpyard Bar and Brewery this Easter weekend.  The bar will be open Easter Saturday and Sunday.

Imbibis Craft Distillery

You can enjoy tasting award-winning gins, brandy, rum and more at Imbibis Craft Distillery on Thursday 28 March (the day before Good Friday) 10am to 6pm and Easter Saturday from 12pm to 6pm.

The PA Hotel will be open normal hours over Easter, except for Good Friday when they will close.

They will be running farm tours, camel rides and their new cameleer experience on Saturday, Sunday and Monday.

Camel rides are available everyday in the school holidays. There is also a half price kids farm tour offer during school holidays, just book online with the code HOLIDAYS.

Naughty Little Kids

The Naughty Little Kids Goat Dairy are running extra tours during the school holidays including Easter Saturday and Sunday.

Tours are available Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays at 1pm and 2.30pm over the holidays and must be booked in advance (the farm is closed outside of tour days).

You can also purchase goat dairy products from 1pm till 5pm on any of the days that they are open for tours.
