One of the first hip cafes to open in Ipswich’s heritage Top of Town precinct, Fourthchild has long established itself as a firm favourite with both locals and visitors.
Colourful funky artworks adorn the historic brick walls, and bi-fold windows open onto the street for good people-watching, while the all-day menu hits the spot for breakfast, lunch, morning or afternoon tea and dinner.
Fourthchild is a family-owned and run business, with everything handmade from scratch in-house using ingredients sourced from the Lockyer Valley farms and local suppliers.
Whether a delicious hearty breakfast (Crème Brulee French Toast), scrumptious cakes (Lemon Meringue Pie), slices (burnt Caramel Slice) and scones, Light Lunch options and savouries (Salmon and Camembert Quiche/Chicken Club Sandwich) or a la carte lunch and evening dining (Prawn and Scallop Risotto), there’s much to love on the gourmet menu here.
As well as being a go-to for a great cup of speciality di Manfredi blend coffee, Fourthchild is also fully licensed with Craft Beers, Australian Reds and Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc available.
And with its great location close to several accommodation options, Fourthchild is a must-dine for any Ipswich visitor.
