Been waiting until restrictions ease to book a night out, or a special lunch or maybe you just can’t be bothered cooking tonight…  Either way we’ve got you covered with these great dinner ideas!

Rafter and Rose

One of Ipswich’s most popular cafe’s, Rafter and Rose is open again for dining in.

Enjoy delicious hand-made treats and meals again at this cafe in the Top of Town.

Bookings are preferred, however, if a table is available then walk-ins will be allowed.

To book ring the shop 0401 073 644, opening hours are 6.30am-2.30pm Monday to Friday.

 

Club Services Ipswich

From Wednesday to Sunday Club Services Ipswich is open for dining in!

Lunch is being served between 11.30am and 2pm and dinner from 5pm to 8.30pm.

On the menu is favourites including chicken parmigiana, reef and beef, rump and ribs, pizza, pasta and burgers.

You need to book in for a meal, but you can also book in to enjoy a drink in the Sports Bar and watch the NRL on the big screen.

Bookings are essential, opening times are 10am-4am  seven days a week.

Racehorse Hotel

Racehorse Hotel

The Racehorse Hotel is now open for lunch and dinner bookings.

Grab lunch and dinner from Monday to Thursday 11.30am-2.30pm and 5pm-8.30pm and on Friday, Saturday and Sunday head over for all day dining 11.30am-9pm!

You can also pop in for a drink again, while sitting down.

Jets Leagues Club

The Ipswich Jets Leagues Club is open and offering chef cooked meals.

From 11.30am-2.30pm dine in for lunch and from 5.30-8.30pm head in for dinner.

The coffee shop is open seven days a week from 11am-9pm, and until 10pm on Friday and Saturday nights.

There is also a new dining menu which includes lamb shanks, chicken tikka masala, smoked BBQ brisket, chicken schnitzel, pad see ew, roast of the day and pumpkin and haloumi salad.  There’s also three kinds of steak on the menu 200g rump, 400g rump and wagyu rump.

You can dine in for lunch and dinner at Dovetails Restaurant.

Head chef Shannon and his team have spent the time in lock down busy cooking up a brand new menu, which includes QLD Barramundi, sweetcorn and prawn risotto and Congo gnocchi.

There’s also Wagyu beef ragu, confit duck, beef ribs, Wagyu rump, Black Angus eye fillet and OP rib on the bone.

The dessert menu is outstanding with broken chocolate tart, bread and butter pud, drunk mango pannacotta, winter crumble and spring rolls filled with finger lime cheesecake!

Heisenberg Haus

Heisenberg Haus has opened for dine in service, for up to 20 patrons at a time.

Seating times will be Wednesday to Sunday 5pm-7pm and 7pm-9pm.

Pumpyard

Dining in is back on at Ipswich’s favourite craft beer brew pub the Pumpyard Bar and Brewery for lunch and dinner up to 20 people at a time.  

All guests will have to be seated and enjoy table service for all food and beverage orders.

Bookings are essential and will be for 90 minutes.  And their takeaway options will still be available!

 

Memories of India

Memories of India

You can now enjoy delicious Indian food dining in at Memories in India.  They are running three sittings 5pm-6.30pm, 6.30pm-8pm and 8pm-9.30pm.

And are following Covid-safe hygiene procedures and limiting staff contact.

Memories of India have also launched a delicious new winter menu that includes goat nihari, goat vindaloo, lal maas, lamb boona, chicken sabjiwala, chicken rogan josh, chicken masala panjabi, chicken yakhni, prawn methi malai, prawn jalfarzi, fish rajasthani, fish ceylon curry, potato spinach curry and paneer butter masala.

You can enjoy gourmet food at the hatted Homage restaurant again!

The restaurant is in a brand new building at Spicers Hiddenvale resort.

They are currently offering intimate 10 people settings at 12pm and 2pm from Wednesdays to Sundays.  Their takeaway offering is still available too!

Brothers Leagues Club

Brothers Leagues Club is open for dining and drinks Wednesday to Sunday from noon.  A new The Road Back menu has some great $14 lunch specials and their popular sizzling steaks.

The car park cafe will still be running seven days a week from 6am-12pm.

Commercial Hotel Redbank

A new chef table experience has started at The Commercial Hotel in Redbank.  

The exclusive dining package includes four courses with bread and house butter, alfresco dining with the fire pit and heaters on as the nights start to get a little cooler for 10 people, over two sittings.

On the four course menu is lemon pepper squid and chilli and garlic marinated prawn skewers, slow cooked beef cheek with carrot puree and red wine jus, pan fried hanger steak or char grilled chicken breast with a harissa yoghurt and traditional sticky date pudding with butterscotch sauce and ice cream!

On Wednesday and Thursday nights enjoy three courses for $30 and Friday and Saturday’s four courses for $50.

Lunch includes garlic bread and a main for $20.

Open seven days for lunch and Wednesday to Saturday for dinner.

The Cottage Restaurant has started dining once again.  They are opening for two sittings on Tuesday to Saturday nights from 5.30pm and 7.30pm.

They will be following Covid safe regulations and are still offering takeaway pick up between 6pm and 7pm.

Oikos

Oikos Cafe have recently returned from a short break, and are now allowing up to 10 people to eat in at the cafe.

They are still encouraging people to order takeaway from their dedicated window and using takeaway cups, containers and utensils even for dine in customers.  Bookings can’t be taken at this time so it will be a matter of first in best dressed.

On the menu is their delicious Oikos grills, coffee, smoothies and bowls!

They are opening from 7am to 1pm on weekdays.

The Girls’ Coffee Bar

The Girls’ Coffee Bar in Marburg are open again for dine-in for 10 people at a time. 

They’re also still offering their takeaway menu.  Head on in for a range of burgers including epic chilli chicken, steak burgers and more, all day breakfast including vege stacks, pancakes and homemade fruit toast and mains like fish and chips and lasagne!

The Soul Nook Collective

You can now book a picnic with up to 9 of your besties at The Soul Nook Collective.

The luxury styled picnics can now be booked at the Old Church in Marburg!  The styled picnics come with grazing platters and wine and music can be arranged!

Ruby Chews Burgers and Shakes at Riverlink is open again and allowing dining for up to 10 people!

Enjoy burgers, shakes and hot dogs on the balcony over looking the Bremer River.

They also have a family feed picnic available with two classic burgers or hot dogs, two kids burgers or chicken tenders, two regular soft drinks, milkshakes or beer/ciders, two kids soft drinks or milkshakes and a family fries for under $50!

All their usual delicious burgers, fries, milkshakes and frozen custard is available for takeaway or dine in.

Indian Mehfil are back with dining in from 11.30am-2pm for lunch Sunday to Friday and from 4.30pm-9pm for dinner seven days a week.

BLVD

BLVD

BLVD restaurant inside the Springfield Lakes Hotel is open for dining on Saturdays for three sittings.  Book in for Saturday lunch or dinner or an intimate birthday party.

Summer Land Camels

You can now dine in with award-winning camel feta, milk and cheddar dishes on the menu at Summer Land Camel Farm.

Up to 10 people at a time can tuck into the camel milk coffee, tasty pizza and other cafe menu items like eggs benny for breakfast over looking stunning rural views at the Harrisville farm.

Bakehouse Steakhouse

Bakehouse Steakhouse has opened up dining for 10 people at a time.  

Lunch is available Sunday to Thursday from 11.30am-1pm and 1pm-2.30pm and on Friday and Saturdays from 11.30am-1pm, 1pm-2.30pm and 2.30pm-4.30pm.

Dinner is available Sunday to Thursday at 5pm-7pm and 7.15pm-9pm and Fridays and Saturdays from 4.45pm-6pm, 6.15pm-7.45pm and 8pm till late.

Friday and Saturday night bookings will be under their signature steak dinner set menu which includes rump or strip loin steak, endless fries and soft leaf salad and a dessert (banoffee pie, New York Cheesecake, chocolate brownie, lemon meringue tart) for $45. 

There’s also a bevy and bone option for $85 where you can get a dry aged OP 850g rib on the bone and glass of wine or a schooner of tap beer or soft drink.

Fourthchild has opened up dining in again for 10 people at a time for breakfast and lunch Tuesday to Sunday and dinner Wednesday to Saturday.

Tuck into smoked beef short ribs, with chipotle slaw, potato skins, beer battered onion rings and red wine jus.  Or enjoy eggs Benedict with rosti stacks out on the deck.  The full menu is available for dine in and takeaway!

Their $49.99 dinner special for two is still available which includes entree, main and dessert, add on vino for $10.

Their new opening hours are Tuesdays and Sundays 8am-2pm and Wednesdays to Saturdays 8am-8pm.

Prince Alfred Hotel

Char’d Dining has re-opened at the Prince Alfred Hotel for 10 people at a time. 

Bookings are limited 1.5 hour blocks, at the moment there’s no tap beer but they are still serving up beer and wine from bottles.

Queens Park Cafe

The Queens Park Cafe which recently re-opened is now offering takeaway and dine in on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 8am-2pm.

All meals will be served takeaway style but you can sit and enjoy in the cafe, or take and relax in the surrounding parklands.

Unfortunately bookings can’t be taken so space can not be guaranteed.  Look out for their new vendors offering gifts and jewellery in the cafe.

Riverlink restaurants and cafes have also started opening for 10 people at a time, however the foodcourt remains closed.

Asian Gourmet Cuisine, Baskin Robbins, Boost Juice, Bucking Bull, Café 63, The Coffee Club Cinemas, Donut King, Gloria Jeans, I Sushi, Jamaica Blue, Montezuma’s, Muffin Break, Oasis Tea Bar, Rashays, Ruby Chews, Sushi D’lite, Sushi Naru and The Coffee Club are all open offering takeaway or dine in where seating is available for up to 10 people at a time.
