72 Brisbane Road‚ Redbank

One of the region’s oldest hotels has undergone an extensive renovation and relaunched as a bright character-filled venue complete with new restaurant and beer garden.

Redbank’s Commercial Hotel was established in 1910 and while some locals can claim to have been coming here for half a century, it is now also drawing a whole new generation through the doors.

Daily restaurant specials are offered and there’s a packed line-up of touring musicians and car park events.

Diners can enjoy an extensive a la carte menu as well as AUD10 meals offered Monday to Friday and all day Sunday.

The head chef works with local suppliers and producers to put together an impressive menu of country pub classics – with an emphasis on steaks – and specials.

The hotel conjures a welcoming country pub-style atmosphere and is located close to Redbank Station so it’s an easy day trip for Brisbane city folk coming to catch a band on a Sunday afternoon.
