Discover Ipswich, Staff Writer

Our eyes are glued to the TV this week as local tennis champion Ash Barty plays for a chance to make history in the Australian Open.  Will she make the finals?  Either way we’re ready to cheer her on and celebrate with a Barty Party!

There are a few venues ready to blow up the balloons and get out the decorations if she makes the finals on Saturday – see where here.

We also encourage you to celebrate with a Barty Party at home – simply order your favourite takeaway, invite a few mates around and watch her make tennis history!

Your favourite restaurants are ready to welcome you, whether you’re after a great dining experience or would prefer a night in with takeaway at home.

Take a look to see who’s upping the takeaway game in the Heritage City and where you can grab a table.

*While we try to ensure this content is as accurate as possible, the rapidly changing nature of the pandemic means some opening and closing times and menu items might be different to what appears here, we ask that you ring ahead or follow businesses on their social media to double check before jumping in the car.
