This Christmas holidays if you’ve got friends visiting and want to impress, or if you just don’t want to do the dishes, check out these great restaurants open to serve you.

The charming Rafter and Rose cafe in Ipswich’s Top of Town precinct will be open Christmas Eve from 6.30am-2pm and Christmas Day from 7am-11am and then closing until January 2.  They will re-open on January 3 with normal trading hours.

Racehorse Hotel

If you’re after some great pub fare, The Racehorse Hotel is open for the whole Christmas period!  You will need to book for Christmas Day however.

Brothers Leagues Club

Brothers Leagues Club will be open the entire Christmas period except Christmas Day.   The club boasts a restaurant and a cafe as well as three bars on site and have recently launched a new menu with great seafood offerings!  Plus kids eat for free at lunch and dinner with a full priced meal during the school holidays!

Club Services Ipswich will be open all through the holidays except Christmas Day, seven days a week.  And kids eat for free with a full priced meal during the school holidays!

The Prince Alfred Hotel specialises in fresh delicious seafood.  They will be open all holidays except Christmas Day.

Brookwater Barista

The Brookwater Barista will be open up to Christmas Eve and then close Christmas Day, Boxing Day and Tuesday December 27.  Head in for great fresh food and menus featuring seasonal produce.  They will also close on January 1 and 2.

Ruby Chews

Ruby Chews Burgers & Shakes

Ruby Chews will be open right through the holidays except for Christmas Day. Classic burgers and crispy chicken are the things to try here!

Breakfast at Stephanies

Hearty breakfasts and lunch by the Orion Lagoon are being served up over the holiday period at Breakfast at Stephanies.  Open every day except Christmas Day.

The Barn Family Restaurant

The Barn Family Restaurant at the Ipswich Turf Club will be open up until and including lunch on Christmas Eve.

Then they will take a break from Christmas Day until Friday December 30 for lunch as there is a race day on.

They will then close again until January 4.

Summer Land Camels

Summer Land Camels will close from December 25- December 27 and January 1.  Which means the Homestead Cafe will also be closed.
