Take mum to the theatre

Gift mum theatre tickets to Ipswich Little Theatre’s next season From Here to Eternity?.
‘From Here to Eternity? -Two One Act Plays’, is the next season offered by the Ipswich Little Theatre.
‘Tracks’ opens with a group of strangers in a dirty subway station. Soon they learn there is no way out of the station. They reflect upon their lives, recalling and confessing past deeds of which they are not proud, hoping to figure out why they are there. As the subway train finally approaches, they must decide whether to stay and ponder their actions further, or to have faith and climb aboard. This is a play that will leave you thinking far beyond the final curtain.
‘God Goes to a Shrink’ is a quirky comedy involving God, disguised as a female shop assistant, who seeks help from an atheist psychologist along with his not too bright receptionist. ‘Messiah Monday’ has never been so real……or is it?
Both plays are rated PG with some adult themes.
The season runs from 11-27 May with public performances nightly on 13,19,20,26 and 27 May at 8pm and with two matinees on Sundays, 14 and 21 at 2pm.

The legendary ballet Forest Song has been the pride of Ukraine for over 75 years and is a magical love story full of mysticism alongside the conflict between the human world and nature. It tells a tale of love and the fearless and brave Mavka, who longs for peace in her world, just as Ukraine longs for peace in her country today. This is being performed for the first time in Australia by the Grand Kyiv Ballet.
Don Quixote is a flamboyant and festive Spanish ballet and a much-loved romantic comedy. It tells the story of a courageous but troubled man’s quest for love.
