Theatre tickets

Once in a Blue Moon

If you’re quick you should get mum Once in a Blue Moon theatre tickets, before they sell out!

Once in a Blue Moon written by John Dole is the next season from Ipswich Little Theatre at the Incinerator Theatre. Directed by Tony Erhardt and Dave Dunkerley, this hilarious comedy is “out of this world”. ILT is renowned for its professional performances with most seasons sold-out in a matter of weeks.

The plot revolves around Gregory who is an amateur astronomer. Night after night, he stares at the constellation Lyra until he arouses the interest of its resident goddess, who comes down to offer him her supernatural powers.

But there is nothing remote about Lyra to the embarrassment of Gregory who has problems enough already, what with his girlfriend Veronica and his flat mate Lionel.

To complicate matters further there is Hash Harriet, a burglarious lady, Ganymede Prout, a dim electrician, not to mention Gregory’s mum and a person from downstairs.

This play is a non-stop rollercoaster of laughs and rated PG with some adult themes.

The season is being held from May 12-28 with public performances nightly on May 14, 20, 21, 27 and 28th at 8pm and Sunday matinees on May 15 and 22 at 2pm.

Gift vouchers are also available for Mothers’ Day online.  Bookings and more information are available online or book in person at the Ipswich Visitors Information Centre on 3281 0555.
