Looking for somewhere to eat in the Greater Springfield region? There’s plenty on offer, and delicious menus to explore too, around this modern and vibrant community.

Orion Hotel

The stunning bistro restaurant at Orion Hotel offers the finest local produce prepared to the highest quality, while the café and designated kids play area is perfect to catch up for a coffee while the little ones play.  The hotel is a great place for groups, families or couples!

Moselles Cafe + Restaurant

If it’s a water view you’d like with your morning coffee or lunch meeting, then this is the spot! Grab a table out on the deck overlooking the lake and kick back with excellent coffee and colourful food.

The all-day menu is available at Moselles daily from 8am to 2pm and this is one of the region’s most popular spots for a long leisurely brunch.  On the menu are fantastic breakfast favourites but also salads, fish and chips, pasta and a menu of Boss Burgers.

The Café Kalina

This dog-friendly café is also family-friendly with seating spread across a deck that overlooks a wide grassy expanse and an adjacent playground. And this is not even the best bit – check out the stunning array offered here every day in the cabinet and on a menu that stretches past the norm.

Almost everything at Cafe Kalina is made from scratch and there’s a friendly team ready to welcome visitors from far and wide.  Try the Nutella Latte which has a following all of its own!

There’s 20 taps on offer serving a wide variety of craft beer here.  Ballistic Springfield is perfect for groups, couples or the fam!  The all-day food menu includes small bites and salads, pizza and burgers, steak, fish and there’s even a prawn and chorizo gnocchi!

Open 11am-9pm Monday to Wednesday, 11am-10pm Thursday, 11am-11pm Friday and Saturday, and 11am-8.30pm Sunday.

Claire’s Wholesome Kitchen

Think fresh and vibrant food. Claire’s Wholesome Kitchen (formerly Raw Energy) is located in a sunny position overlooking the Orion Lagoon.  There’s breakfast, brunch and lunch options available all day, with meals made fresh in-house including all the lovely sauces.

Lotus Cafe

Lotus Cafe is another long-time favourite of the Springfield community, tucked in off the main road as an oasis of good flavours. Think saucy burgers, classic eggs benny and blueberry pancakes as well as acai bowls and falafel wraps. Good to know… you can take the elevator to Level 10 here to see the scaled view of the master-planned Springfield community, which was the largest of its kind in Australia when work began.

Coffee Guru Brookwater

Coffee Guru Brookwater has fast become a destination venue that prides itself on great food and service. Everything except the croissants and novelty iced cookies are brought in.  There’s epic breakfasts on the menu and also fantastic lunch offerings including brisket pies, Guru bowls and superfood salads.

Open 6am-2pm Monday to Saturday and 7am-2pm Sunday.

Pizzeria La Prima

If you’re looking for traditional Italian, it’s hard to beat Pizzeria La Prima.  There’s a list of traditional pizzas, handmade gnocchi and desserts all made by the Milanese owner Claudio D’Andrea.  If you’re dining in there’s a great little wine list and takeaway is also available for mid-week or weekend nights off the cooking!

Brookwater Barista

This family business is run by Chef Alex and his wife Carolyn, along with help from their daughters, Brooke and Bianca. 

There’s a hearty menu of café classics to choose from and the meals are beautifully presented.  For a bite on the run in the mornings, bacon and egg on a milk bun with a coffee has been a huge hit!

Open 6am-2pm Wednesday to Sunday and 6am-11am Monday and Tuesday.
