Colourful fireworks displays to light up the night sky

Four colourful fireworks displays will light up the night skies over Ipswich on New Year’s Eve.
Fireworks will launch across the region in Springfield Central, South Ripley, Ipswich Central and Rosewood with Ipswich City Council strategically choosing central locations where residents can view the displays from their backyards or in large, open public spaces nearby.

New Year’s Eve dinner at Homage

Bid farewell to the year at Homage Restaurant, where the paddock-to-plate philosophy meets refined celebration.
As the sun sets over the Ipswich region, gather on the Homage lawn for canapés and a welcome glass of Champagne, surrounded by the beauty of the countryside.
Guests will then be seated for an indulgent five-course dining experience curated by the Homage chefs, showcasing the region’s finest produce. Each dish tells a story of provenance and craft, thoughtfully balanced and artfully plated to mark the occasion.
Providence’s twilight picnic in the park
Enjoy live music, tasty treats from food trucks and inflatable fun for the kids. There will also be free face painting and roving entertainers to add to the excitement. Then there will be fireworks at 9pm.

Get ready to party like its 1985! Club Services Ipswich are hosting an 80s party with the chance to win some awesome prizes for best dressed.
There is also no cover charges.
Vegas at the Q

The Q will be celebrating New Years Eve from 7pm with a Vegas-themed party. Enjoy an Elvis tribute, two course dinner, showgirls, roulette, drinks and dancing from $89 per person.
New Year’s Eve celebration at Hotel Commonwealth

Ring in the New Year with live music by Zane Taylor at Hotel Commonwealth. The music starts at 8.30pm and goes until late. Expect good vibes, great company and the perfect spot to countdown to midnight.

80s and 90s NYE party at Brothers Leagues Club

Step back in time and celebrate the biggest night of the year with a throwback party at Brothers Leagues Club packed with iconic hits, epic vibes and nothing but good times!
Brothers’ 80s & 90s tribute band will be lighting up the stage with the songs you still know every word to — featuring hits from Madonna, Cher, Cyndi Lauper, Robbie Williams, P!nk and more.

Cowboy Countdown at Club Parkview

A cowboy party will be held at Club Parkview in Goodna this New Years.
This family-friendly event will include free face painting and balloon twisting.
All the fun begins at 6pm and will finish with a dazzling fireworks display at 9pm.
