Nestled amongst the beautiful heritage buildings in Ipswich’s Top of Town precinct is Fourthchild Café, Restaurant and Lounge Bar, offering a unique and tasty blend of urban-inspired gourmet flavours and old-world ambience.

This vibrant café and restaurant boasts a diverse and mouth-watering menu, where locally grown ingredients and produce are the stars, and each morsel is created in-house by Fourthchild’s team of incredible chefs.

Whether you want to awaken your senses with the fragrance and flavour of Manfredi coffee, or treat the family to stunning dishes including Moreton Bay Bug linguini, freshly-caught market fish, spanner crab and avocado rillette, seared duck breast or a tender reef and beef cooked just how you like it, Fourthchild has something to suit every palate.

Open seven days a week from 7am, Fourthchild is the perfect place to enjoy any meal, whether it’s a relaxed breakfast or brunch, a delicious lunch or dinner, drinks, a high tea, or even just a homemade sweet treat or dessert. The family-owned and operated business also offers diners an extensive selection of craft beers, wines, spirits and cocktails, making it a perfect night out.

Be greeted by Fourthchild’s friendly staff as you enter the iconic Ipswich building which dates back to the 1880s. Enjoy the cosy atmosphere created by the Wheeler family, with a choice of semi-private dining areas, a funky open restaurant space, or the casual vibe of the spacious back deck where you’ll enjoy views across the city.

There’s plenty of on-street and off-street parking available making it easy to visit at any time, or, if you don’t have time to visit but have a craving for a Manfredi coffee or a hearty meal or snack, Fourthchild now offers a pick up and delivery service. Simply scan the QR code and place your order which can be delivered or picked up – your choice!

About 215 Brisbane Street Ipswich:

Fourthchild Café and Restaurant is located at 215 Brisbane Street Ipswich. The location was originally the Shamrock which burned to the ground in 1885 before being rebuilt.

The newly-built location was called the Union but when the Prince of Wales visited Ipswich in 1920, owners Dennis and Violet Callaghan changed the name to Settlers Inn (Club Hotel).
