As the Jacarandas bloom from October to November there’s plenty of ways to get into the spirit.

Celebrate Jacaranda season with delicious purple cocktails, check out the best places to view the flowers or wear pretty purple colours…

Sip on Jacaranda gin

Purple flowers popping means Imbibis Craft Distillery has been busy distilling their Jacaranda Gin.  The gin has citrus and floral notes and changes colour when tonic is added.  You can pick up a bottle at the distillery on Fridays from 10am to 6pm.

The Goodna Jacaranda Festival is back for two full days of fun over 24 and 25 October. Thrill seekers can enjoy sideshow alley, while chill seekers enjoy all the free music and entertainment they could want. Plus there’s plenty to do for the youngest members of the family. Across the weekend, the main stage is filled with great entertainment; grab a bite to eat, a drink, relax and enjoy!

You can see the purple haze from the air as you tranquilly float over the skies from the basket of a Floating Images Hot Air Balloon Flight.

This is probably one of the most spectacular ways to see the blooms, and definitely a bucket list experience.
