Be guided through the heritage listed Mansion as you learn about Woodland’s exciting and captivating history.

Hear stories from the early pioneer days of the Smith family and their successful timber mill to the St. Vincent’s seminary era and stories of the lives of the priests including the construction of our 4 metre deep hand dug pool.

Tours begin on the ground floor as guides explain how Woodlands of Marburg was established and some of the key owners or buildings through the property. Customers then have the option to view the second floor bedrooms or head downstairs to the famous cellar. (note Health and Safety conditions apply).

Standard tours run for approximately 30 mins for individuals and groups of up to 20 people.

Larger groups can be split into 2, allowing one group to wonder through the beautiful landscaped grounds while the other group is on the tour.

For those guests that do not want to walk through the grounds, the lounge within the Mansion is available as a waiting area or why not visit the Tommy Smith Café for a hot beverage and snack (during cafe trading hours).
