Whether you’re new to outdoor exploration or looking to refine your skills, this interactive experience will guide you through essential bush navigation techniques, including map reading and compass use. You’ll also gain valuable insights into staying safe, prepared, and self-reliant in natural environments.

Dates: Saturday 4 July 2026

Time: 9:00 am – 12:00 pm (3-hour session)
Please arrive at least 15 minutes early to ensure a prompt start.

Cost: $5 per person

Is this activity suitable for me?

  • Alcohol and drug free event
  • This session is suitable for 8+ years through to mature adults
  • Secure enclosed footwear suited to bush walking is required
  • This activity is expected to take around 3 hours
  • The walk may include unsealed bush track of moderate difficulty and includes steep, rocky, loose and sloping surfaces
  • Wildlife including snakes may be encountered on this walk
