265-317 School Rd‚ Redbank plains

Step into the twilight at  White Rock – Spring Mountain Conservation Estate and experience the magic of nature after dark.

Join us on this leisurely walk to view the Flower Moon as it rises full and luminous, glowing softly against autumn skies. Named for spring blooms in the Northern Hemisphere, it appears warm and golden, casting gentle light across the landscape and revealing subtle lunar details while nearby stars fade in its brilliance.

We will head out as the sun sinks below the horizon and the sky begins to glow, then settle in for a guided dusk walking tour through this remarkable landscape. Watch the moon rise as daylight fades, and discover a different side of the estate as the day’s last light gives way to night. This rare after-hours experience offers the chance to encounter the furry locals and their feathery friends as they emerge and begin their evening routines.

Pause and take in the view from the lookout, where the sweeping landscape stretches from Springfield to Mount Coot-tha. As darkness settles, Brisbane’s city lights sparkle in the distance, creating a stunning backdrop for a well-earned rest. Your guide will share fascinating insights into the natural environment and rich history of White Rock – Spring Mountain, deepening your connection to this special place. Looking north-west, keen eyes may even spot the distant runways of RAAF Base Amberley.

Bring along snacks and water to refuel before the return journey. Then, as night fully claims the forest, switch on your torches and set off along the moonlit trail. Move softly through the shadows, spotting wildlife as it comes to life along the forest floor and among the trees. Guided by the glow of the moon and the hush of the bush, you’ll make your way back along gentle trails, completing a truly memorable walking adventure under the stars.
