Step inside some of Ipswich’s most beautiful historic homes and enjoy time at Queens Park during the Galvanized Festival.

Meet your tour bus at Queens Park, with free all‑day parking available at Merle Finimore Avenue (access via Burley Griffin Drive).  Our friendly guides will meet you in front of the Nerima Gardens main gates, where you will board an air‑conditioned coach for a relaxed and informative day of heritage discovery.

Begin with a delicious Devonshire Tea on the veranda of the Ipswich Visitor Information Centre, overlooking Queens Park and the HMAS memorial

Travel by coach through the Heritage City, passing grand civic buildings, historic pubs, stately churches, streets lined with cherished heritage homes. Hear fascinating stories of Ipswich’s early pioneers from a knowledgeable local guide and enjoy a sit‑down lunch at a popular local venue, including a complimentary drink. Continue the journey with further heritage stories upon returning to Queens Park for some free time.
