And now it’s Springfield’s turn for a piece of the action. A Tesla Tiny House will be going on display from June 18 to 21 at Orion Springfield Central. You’ll find it outside JB Hi Fi on the ground level from 9am-530pm daily – and until 9pm on the Thursday.

Tesla tiny house

Towed by the all-electric Tesla Model X, the Tiny House is touring Australia to offer an insight into how Tesla’s energy products can help sustainably power a home, protect from outages and reduce a household’s energy bills.

Powered by 100 per cent renewable energy via a 2 kW solar system and Powerwall. Tiny House contains a mobile design studio and configurator which can calculate how your home can generate clean energy from the sun using solar panels. Storing the energy in Powerwall to use throughout the day and night, which can all be monitored and controlled by the Tesla app.
