Just as the Talisman Sabre flew in and out of Ipswich for the annual combined training games so did the Supercars at Queensland Raceway. With a plethora of racing fans storming the famous paperclip to check out their favourite team or grab an autograph from their idol Supercar racer it was the place to be on the weekend.

Ipswich delivered nothing but clear blue skies over the three days providing the best possible conditions for a motor sport event.

It was a testament to the locals and officials at the event not to mention the huge amount of volunteers that come out of the woodwork each year to help out either sweeping the track, waving a flag or just delivering drinks to the officials.
