If you’re looking for a more sustainable and affordable way to top up your wardrobe, be sure to check out Ipswich’s newest market scene, Quibble Markets.

The Quibble Markets are held monthly on Sundays from 8-12pm at the Ipswich Showgrounds Events Centre, as well as the occasional pop-up at various locations and events throughout the city.

This popular market attracts plenty of bargain-savvy shoppers who are looking to stock up on quality pre-loved clothing in all sizes for men, women and children, as well as accessories like shoes, handbags and jewellery.

Some of the most sought-after items include jeans, dresses, tops, swimmers, onesies, clutches, sandals, boots, hats and earrings, just to name a few.

There are also special themed markets held regularly, including maternity and children’s markets so you can buy what you need without breaking the bank.

A number of change rooms are available so you can try before you buy, plus a coffee van for that all important caffeine hit and a hot food stall for rumbling tummies.

Since the first Quibble Market was held in April 2023 at South Ripley, the market has continued to grow and is now a much-loved social outing for locals and visitors.

The addition of fresh produce stalls was introduced in early 2024 to offer shoppers more variety while supporting local farmers, growers and producers.

New stall holders are also welcome to apply via the website.
