Event organisers, local businesses and Ipswich Festivals are hard at work developing this year’s line up of amazing events for you to attend!

Save the dates for the following Festivals, because you won’t want to miss out…

CMC Rocks QLD

CMC Rocks QLD 2023

Australia’s biggest international country music festival is back in 2025 with three days of fantastic music from 21-23 March.  Although the festival is sold out, if you’re looking for tickets head to the official resale site ASX, at the end of January.

CMC Rocks QLD runs from 21-23 March, 2025.

Watercress Creek Olive Festival

Watercress Creek Olives and Limes

An annual event not to miss, the Watercress Creek Olive and Limes festival offers a taste of local produce, with delicious delicacies, market stalls and the chance to have a picnic in the grove!

Watercress Creek Olive Festival will be held on 6 April, 2025.

Planes, Trains and Autos 

PTA Aerial Display

The hallmark event of PTA, Fully Charged, showcases jaw dropping aerial displays, interactive exhibits, up-close experiences, and roving entertainment at Queensland Museum’s Rail Workshops.  There will also be other themed events city wide to attend.

Planes, Trains and Autos runs from 3-5 May, 2025.

Festival of Horsepower

The Festival of Horsepower is a month-long program packed full of adrenaline and excitement in the City of Ipswich. Taking place in June, the annual festival includes a number of Australia’s signature racing and motorsport events including the famous Gulf Western Oil Winternationals, TAB Ipswich Cup Race Day and 2 Days of Thunder. 

Festival of Horsepower runs from 1-30 June, 2025.

SPARK 

SPARK Ipswich

Ipswich’s arts and cultural festival, SPARK Ipswich, celebrates the people, places, arts and culture of Ipswich. 

SPARK will run from 11-20 July, 2025.

Galvanized

Baker's Ball

Galvanized is the city’s festival of heritage, showcasing some of the best heritage experiences and events Ipswich has to offer. Be transported back in time by visiting iconic venues and historic sites and participating in open days, tours, demonstrations and workshops. 

Galvanized runs from 5-14 September, 2025.

Earth Frequency Festival

Earth Frequency Festival

Earth Frequency Festival is a music, arts, lifestyle and environment festival based in Ipswich, with a strong focus on arts, education and community spirit.

Earth Frequency runs from 17-20 October, 2025.

Goodna Jacaranda Festival

With music, fireworks, carnival games and rides, the Goodna Jacaranda Festival is one to put on the list for 2025!

Goodna Jacaranda Festival will be held 24-25 October, 2025.

Christmas In Ipswich

From twinkling lights to mesmerizing firework displays, Christmas in Ipswich is the most magical time of the year! Incredible events city wide for all of December, this is most definitely one to ensure you save the date for.
