Planes, Trains and Autos
The hallmark event, the newly renamed Fully Charged, showcases jaw dropping aerial displays, interactive exhibits, up-close experiences, and roving entertainment. You will also be treated to themed events city wide to attend all weekend long including model steam train rides, retro picnics and car meets.
Planes, Trains and Autos runs from 4-6 May, 2024.
Festival of Horsepower
The Festival of Horsepower is a month-long program packed full of adrenaline and excitement in the City of Ipswich. Taking place in June, the annual festival includes a number of Australia’s signature racing and motorsport events including the famous Gulf Western Oil Winternationals, TAB Ipswich Cup Race Day and 2 Days of Thunder. Festival of Horsepower runs from 1-30 June, 2024.
SPARK
Ipswich’s arts and cultural festival, SPARK Ipswich, celebrates the people, places, arts and culture of Ipswich. SPARK runs from 4-14 July, 2024.
Galvanized
Galvanized is the city’s festival of heritage, showcasing some of the best heritage experiences and events Ipswich has to offer. Be transported back in time by visiting iconic venues and historic sites and participating in open days, tours, demonstrations and workshops. Galvanized runs from 29 August – 8 September, 2024.
Christmas In Ipswich
From twinkling lights to mesmerizing firework displays, Christmas in Ipswich is the most magical time of the year! Incredible events city wide for all of December, this is most definitely one to ensure you save the date for. Christmas in Ipswich runs for the month of December.
