The Queensland Raceway paperclip is ready to rumble once again, with the sound of 130 muscle cars taking to the iconic Ipswich Racetrack for 2 Days of Thunder this weekend.

Entrants from all around Australia head to the track for one of the biggest state-level muscle car racing rounds in Queensland.

On track over the 2 action-packed days you will see the door rubbing Trans-Am Series, Queensland Touring Cars, the classic Muscle Car Sprints, the Tradie Ute Series and plenty more… including fiery and smokey burnout demos from the infamous Bandag Bullet Turbo Truck and Hanful freshly back from the Powercruise Dream Team.

“It’s great to see such a variety of makes and models from all different eras on full noise coming down Dick Johnson straight,” event manager Neil Lewis said.

“The families coming together and sharing the experience with both the younger and older generations and talking about all the cars is what we love to see. It’s great to see the kids off the Xbox and checking out racing in real life,” he said.

The Sunday of the two day event also includes entry to the Show and Shine with some spectacular rides on show for all to see.

For a great family friendly day out 2 Days of Thunder at Queensland Raceway is the place to be, on June 22-23.
