Rafter & Rose sprouts more space
Popular Ipswich cafe Rafter & Rose has doubled in size, pouring its contemporary botanical style into the adjoining space.
It means there are now three dining areas to choose from. There are plenty of larger tables added to the original nooks and laneway seating.
The family-run cafe is one of the city’s most loved and highly rated on Trip Advisor. It has won hearts for its unique ambience, friendly vibe and eye-popping cakes cabinet and menus. Pumpkin pie, towering cheesecakes, cupcakes and muffins line the countertops and cabinet, while the breakfast and lunch menus ooze wholesomeness. Oh and bacon jam. The Padre coffee is on song too.
There are plans to introduce night dining on Friday and Saturday nights – keep in touch with their Facebook page to find out more.
Rafter & Rose occupies a heritage building and laneway at 1/17 Ellenborough St, Ipswich. It is open from 6.30am-2pm Monday to Friday and from 7am-noon on weekends.
