New Ripley Markets about to fire up
One of Ipswich’s newest master-planned communities is about to have a regular market of its own. The launch of Ripley Markets is on August 11.
The markets will then be held on the second Saturday of every month from 3-8pm. With Springfield Markets creator Vicki Martin at the helm, they are generating plenty of interest.
Already confirmed are stalls offering everything from jewellery, homewares and children’s clothing to street food, fresh produce and local honey.
Vicki said the location would provide a nice point of difference for the markets. Being based in the new food court area of Providence, South Ripley, with seating, cushions and live music in the mix. As well as the water play area and an onsite licensed café.
Vicki has run Springfield Markets at Robelle Domain on the first Friday of every month for six years now. She recently introduced markets on the third Sunday of the month along the Main St of Orion Springfield Central.
