Ipswich Historical Society
School Excursions with Tailored Activities
A museum is a mysterious place for a budding detective to investigate the past! How curious and imaginative are your students?
Our Education Coordinator is available to work with teachers to tailor a visit for students to enjoy and that aligns with their curriculum. Our volunteers man the chosen stations and interact with students on a 15 minute time frame.
Activities are hands on wherever possible and can be designed for specific group needs.
- Olden days school room experience
- Watch the Blacksmith at work
- See and sit on old motorbikes
- Wash clothes by hand and hang them on the line
