Flavours of Ipswich is Good to Go!

Owner chef Mark Naoum and wife Ange have created a dining gem, complete with one of the city’s best wine lists, where regulars enjoy contemporary European-style dining with all the finesse you’d expect from a well-travelled chef who likes to land the best produce he can find and handle it with the respect it deserves.

For Flavours, enjoy a two-course lunch with a choice of parmesan and thyme gnocchi with homemade Italian sausage, cherry tomatoes and basil; or smoked baby beetroot risotto with cheese and wild rocket. For dessert, choose from a Mississippi Mud Cake with mixed berries and vanilla bean ice cream or a pretty petal-strewn crème brulee with macadamia baklava and Turkish delight.

Chef Mark started out in Brisbane restaurants, including celebrated venues like Michael’s and Marco’s back in the day, before heading abroad to work at the award-winning Sheraton Grand in Edinburgh, Scotland.

Road-trip loving Queenslanders might also recognise him from his time as executive chef at Kooroomba Vineyard and Lavender Farm.

If you haven’t been to The Cottage Restaurant before this is the perfect opportunity to check it out, perhaps with a glass of champagne!
