Flavours of Ipswich is Good to Go!

There’s something very lovely about sitting on the back deck at this character-filled café and seeing the tall spires of city’s most famous landmark, St Mary’s Church across the way, beyond the railway tracks.

Out front, the cafe faces busy Brisbane St in the stretch known as the Top of Town, a popular shopping and dining strip in the heart of the heritage city.

Fourthchild is loved for its homestyle offerings including a range of cakes made on-site and displayed in a cabinet facing the foot path and luring passers-by.

For Flavours of Ipswich choose two courses for $25, available daily and all day until 3pm.

There are six mains to choose from, all served with chips and salad, including a towering serve of beef lasagne, classic quiche Lorraine, spinach and feta quiche, salmon and camembert quiche, vegetable lasagne and a chicken, bacon and pesto filo pastry.

Finish with you choice of chocolate fudge brownie with vanilla bean ice-cream, chocolate soil and raspberry sorbet; or the baked cheesecake with cream and ice cream.

If you’re in for lunch on a Sunday you’ll be able to enjoy some relaxed live music on that back deck as well.
