Thanks to the Ipswich Civic Centre we have 10 double passes to see cheeky comic Dave O’Neil live in Ipswich on Wednesday 5 June.
Dave is bringing his brand new stand-up show Overweight Lightweight on the road after playing to sold out audiences across the Melbourne International Comedy Festival.
Dave O’Neil may call himself a lightweight, but with over 30 years of experience, his cheeky brand of humour has made him one of Australia’s most loved comedians. With years of breakfast radio on Nova, frequent appearances on Spicks and Specks, a bunch of podcasts (including Somehow Related with Glenn Robbins and The Junkees with Kitty Flanagan) and a reputation for taking any corporate gig he is offered, it takes a lot to throw this comedian off his game.
On the stage Dave will be joined by friend Brad Oakes – best known for his TV work on Hey Hey It’s Saturday, Totally Full Frontal and The Comedy Company.
Brad Oakes has headlined every major stand-up venue in Australia and toured internationally as a stand-up to Edinburgh, United Kingdom, Singapore, New Zealand and Dubai.

The show will start at 8.00 pm on Wednesday 5 June. Before hand is the opportunity to attend a comedy masterclass with Brad Oakes from 6.00 pm – 7.00 pm. Spaces are limited for the masterclass so you must register here.
