The Cottage Restaurant Opens in Ipswich Central
A new fine dining restaurant, with a modern menu and French/Mediterranean twist, has opened up in Ipswich CBD!
The Cottage Restaurant, located on the western crest of Limestone Street, is the brainchild of local couple Mark and Angela Naoum. The restaurant is inside a beautiful 1860’s heritage home, which the Naoum family once lived in. Head chef Mark hails from Kooroomba Vineyards, where he’s worked for nearly a decade. Angela will run the front of house operations.
Forty people are able to be seated in the intimate dining area, inside and along the veranda.
Menu items include ‘Rolled rabbit with wood mushrooms , braised fennel, cauliflower puree, heirloom baby carrots and red currants’ and ‘Smoked duck breast, faro and rocket risotto, parfait cromesquis and toasted walnut and creamed corn’ while desserts include ‘Hazelnut and white chocolate mousse with mandarin ice, vanilla bean cake and spiced cherry sauce’ and a ‘Lavender crème brulée’.
