As Ipswich prepares to host thousands of country music fans this month for the sold-out CMC Rocks (March 15-18), you can whet your appetite for live music in Ipswich at Cactus Espresso Bar this Thursday night.

Contemporary folk musician Theresa Young returns to her hometown for this special gig at Cactus espresso bar in Ipswich. Living in Hobart these days, Young plays a cittern guitar and tells stories of ‘love, death, community and what’s important’. She has played, and won awards, at the Cygnet and National Folk Festivals.

Tickets to the live music event in Ipswich are $12 ($10 concession) and the doors are open from 6.30pm for a 7pm start. Cactus is licensed and meals will be available, along with the café’s range of coffee and cake offerings.
