The 51st Winternats at Willowbank Raceway
Drag photos are the official media partner of Willowbank Raceway, and they will be front and centre for all the action next weekend at the 51st Gulf Western Oils Winternationals.
Dave Reid and his photographers will be trackside for every burnout, launch, win, loss, and mishap. It could easily be called the best seat in the house, and the boys aim to capture those moments for the racers and spectators to have memories of the event.
The Winternationals is the pinnacle event for Drag Racing in Australia and it always promises to deliver action across the four days.
It is an event that can excite all ages, and there really is a no better way to spend a weekend with your family.
Last weekend we had the team cover the 51st Gulf Western Oil Winternationals Warm-ups to get you all excited for the big one this weekend.
Thursday through till Sunday Willowbank Raceway will turn into a modern mecca of motorsport mayhem with action in Top Fuel through to Junior Dragsters.
This year, for the first time in 51 years, three women are competing in Top Fuel, including Brisbane’s own Kelly Bettes (pictured on right), fellow Australian Rachelle Splatt (left) and USA’s Ashley Stanford.
The Gulf Western Oils Winternationals is a family-friendly event with fun and entertainment for the kids, so pack your jumper and earplugs and maybe the Drag Photos team may catch a photo of you for our Winters Wrap!
