Brickstone House, one of Ipswich’s majestic heritage beauties, harks back to an era of romance and grandeur.

This heritage-listed landmark that conjures a magical fairy tale ambience with its lavish heritage features and fittings, attic rooms and secret garden.

Built in 1864, Brickstone House was originally designed by William Hancock and was home to John Swan.

Through the middle decades of the 20th Century it was divided into flat before being restored in the mid 1980s to its former glory.

Heritage feautres of this four-bedroom home include French doors to the wrap-around veranda, a large bay window in the dining room,  fireplaces, leadlight windows and a Juliet-style balcony from one of the two attic bedrooms.
