White Rock

Why not take a hike or a mountain bike ride up the White Rock track, pack a picnic and make a day of it. At only 6.5kms return, it is neither a difficult or a long walk. Suitable for most fitness levels as it can be taken at your own pace. Allow around 2-3 hours for the hike, although you are likely to finish before then. You will be rewarded with amazing views, peace and quite and the occasional wallaby skipping past.

Nerima Gardens

Nerima Gardens located at Queens Park is a tranquil location to spend a few hours. The Japanese garden is a perfectly maintained spot to enjoy a picnic under the many shady trees. If you are a lover of water dragons, you will love when the join you for your picnic. You could easily forget where you are when hanging out in this peaceful gem.

Still a relatively new event, the Food Fair in the Square event is held in the Ipswich Mall on the last Saturday of the month.
