Ipswich is only 45 minutes by road from Brisbane City, 1 hour from the Gold Coast and 1 hour from Brisbane Airport.  Whether you're coming by car, train or bus, here is some information to help you plan your visit:

 
BY ROAD:

Ipswich is located at the nexus of five major arterial roads allowing for easy access.

From the East: The Ipswich Motorway links Ipswich to Brisbane.

From the West: The Warrego Higway (Highway 54) links Ipswich to major regional centres including Toowoomba, Roma and Charleville.

From the North: The Brisbane Valley Highway (Highway 17) links Ipswich to major regional centres including Esk and Kingaroy.

From the South: The Cunninghan Highway (Highway 15) links Ipswich to major regional centres including Warwick and Stanthorpe, along with the New England Highway from New South Wales.

From the South-East: The Logan Motorway links Ipswich to the Gold Coast and Pacific Highway from New South Wales, along with the Gateway Motorway from Brisbane Airport and Sunshine Coast.
