LOCATION: Chermside Road, IPSWICH

Next to Queens Park, is a brilliant space for sporting enthusiasts.  Here you'll find walking/jogging paths, playing fields, an athletics oval and the mega Doris Howell's Netball Complex. 

And our senior citizens haven't been forgotten either following the Australian-first launch of the LifeTrails fitness area in Limestone Park.

There are five "wellness stations" in each of two locations separated by a short walking trail in the park.  The stations contain all the information you need for a healthy lifestyle including the benefits of excercise, information about healthy eating, osteoporosis, Tai Chi, posture and safe lifting, stress reduction and pain management, and preventing falls.  There's even a station for wheelchair bound people
