An absolute must-do stop as you travel from Ipswich along the Cobb & Co Tourist Drive. Henry Lawson Bicentennial Park is home to the moving "Babies of Walloon" memorial which commemorates Henry Lawson's poem about the tragic drowning of two young sisters.
The park is a focal point for the residents of Walloon and provides excellent facilities including sheltered barbecue areas, public toilets, playground equipment, open-kick-about space, skate park and BMX track ... something for everyone.
