Welcome to Ipswich CMC Rocks!

It’s CMC Rocks this month when 20,000+ country music fans come to Ipswich for the best round-up of country music anywhere right now.

In honour of the stellar line-up of musicians and the fans in town for CMC Rocks – along with the good folk making this annual sold-out blockbuster happen – we’ve put together a handy list of breakfast options and matched each one with a song by a CMC Rocks artist. Welcome to town y’all!

Oikos Cafe Ipswich

Cold pressed Sunshine Juice at Oikos Cafe with eggs

The breakfast: Sunshine Juice (watermelon, passionfruit, pineapple, orange) with eggs your way at Oikos Cafe Ipswich.

The song: Watermelon Moonshine Lainey Wilson (USA).  We love how watermelon tastes like summer.

Moselle’s Cafe + Restaurant

Moselles American breakfast

The breakfast: Moselle’s have an American Breakfast, which embraces all the things we love – fried eggs, pancakes with butter and maple syrup, bacon, has browns and chipolatas.

The song: Raised on Country by Chris Young (USA), turn it up loud and have yourself a big American-style breakfast, it will get you through those big nights at CMC Rocks.

 Rafter & Rose

Brekkie roll at Rafter and Rose

The breakfast: Bacon and Egg Roll at Rafter & Rose.  It comes with house made bacon jam, bbq sauce, bacon and a fried egg on a Turkish roll – delish.

The song: This is how we Roll Tyler Hubbard (USA).  Tyler Hubbard, one half of duo Florida Georgia Line has released a new solo album, but we remember this banger, perfectly paired with a brekkie roll!

Dancing Bean Specialty Roasters

Dancing Bean coffee

The breakfast: It’s all about the coffee here at Dancing Bean Specialty Roasters. So we would be pairing the Old Sea Dog, coffee and American Whisky infusion – made on beans freshly roasted out the back in this converted warehouse, with anything from the menu. Or maybe a sweet treat from the cabinet.

The song: Something in the whisky by Jeb Gipson and Megan Moroney (Megan will perform at CMC Rocks QLD in March) (USA) – we’ll have one more whiskey coffee thanks!

St Shoebill

Savoury mince at St Shoebill

The breakfast: Spicy savoury mince at St Shoebill Cafe.

The song: Nate Smith (USA) World on Fire. This dish is slightly spicy, it might set your mouth on fire, but in the best possible way!

Elderflower Cafe

eggs

The breakfast: The eggs benny with either bacon, avocado or halloumi hit the spot at Elderflower Cafe.

The song: Want Mogan Wade (USA). Well, when you know what you want, you just gotta go for it, and there’s no point in resisting the eggs benny!

Fourthchild Cafe, Bar and Restaurant

Lotus Biscoff Pancakes at Fourthchild Cafe

The breakfast: Biscoff Lotus Pancake at Fourthchild. It comes with Lotus crumb, Biscoff sauce and mixed berries – chef’s kiss!
