Children's Gallery
The Children's Gallery at the Ipswich Art Gallery is Australia's first dedicated art gallery for children. It is a place where children can imagine, create and discover.

The Children's Gallery presents a program of changing exhibitions, activities and events. These exhibitions and programs are designed to reflect children's interests and provide opportunities for children to make their own art works, discover new ideas, interact with their families and play.

These activities allow children to play, solve creative problems and investigate a variety of materials.

The Children's Gallery is a wheelchair and pram-friendly venue with large internal lifts. Our friendly volunteers will help you to find your way around, and to bring your visit alive.

Tours
The Ipswich Art Gallery offers guided group tours of both the permanent and temporary exhibitions. They last about an hour but we suggest you allow a couple of hours to really enjoy our Gallery. For more information about the guided tours, please contact the Gallery.
